Light Blue Software is a company I've set up with talented photographer and techie, Tom Catchesides. Over the last few years, he and his girlfriend, the equally talented yet a bit less techie Helen Bartlett, have been using a system Tom developed to run his studio. Helen persuaded Tom to work on the software to bring it to market; Tom invited me to join the company to bring some graphic design knowledge to the user interfaces.

We worked hard to make the user interface as easy and intuitive as possible, going through various iterations with user testing. The final piece of software was developed in FileMaker, the industry standard for easy-to-use database engines.
